About The Oasis

  • The Oasis Residency – Formally known as The Oasis Boutique Hotel, was established on the 6th of November in the Summer of 2006. Making this our 14th Year of Business!

  • The Oasis is located in the suburb of Rivonia, which lies between the Braamfontein Spruit and the Sandspruit, and was the location of Liliesleaf Farm, where in 1963 many of the accused in the Rivonia Treason Trial were arrested.The Rivonia Trial led to the imprisonment of Nelson Mandela and the others among the accused who were convicted of sabotage and sentenced to life at the Palace of Justice, Pretoria.

  • The Oasis has been graded by the TGCSA as a 4 Star Hotel for 14 consecutive years.

  • Our Hotel is not only resident to the Beazley family but also to the extended family – being our resident cats – Max and George. They occasionally will make an appearance but mainly reside on the private side of the hotel residence.

Anita Beazley
Born in Vanderbijl Park of German descent. She graduated at The Johannesburg College of Education as a teacher. Her passions are reading the Bible and Her Family.
Grayham Beazley
Grayham Beazley
Born in Salisbury/Harare of English Scottish and Greek Heritage attended Oriel Peterhouse and Chisipite Schools. Through his love of art he became a printer and it was here he developed his attention to detail and housekeeping skills. The Oasis is his second successful business. His passions are antique auctions, golfing and backgammon.
Max Beazley
Max Beazley
Max is the most senior member of the cat gang. He is often basking in the sun on a winters day and prefers to stay near his owner Anita most of the time.
George Beazley
George Beazley
Our youngest kitty who is also from a rescue shelter called Kitty and Puppy Haven in Midrand. He spends most of his time sleeping in the Office and thunderbolts as soon as he hears us call him for his Breakfast and Dinner.
